Dimitri Van den Bergh stunned Michael van Gerwen with a nine-dart finish in a thrilling 4-3 victory at the Winmau World Masters. The Belgian’s perfect leg in the sixth set helped force a decider, where Van Gerwen’s costly mistakes allowed Van den Bergh to seal the win and advance to the quarter-finals against Nathan Aspinall.
Elsewhere, Luke Littler dominated James Wade with a 105.47 average, while Jonny Clayton staged a comeback to edge Ryan Searle. Luke Humphries and Damon Heta also progressed, with Heta surviving a match dart against Gerwyn Price.
