The Form Guide: Sensational Littler dominating across the board

PDC Form Guide

Luke Littler has dominated the PDC stats following the Players Championship Finals, leading all five key categories in the Form Guide: averages, OChE (Ordinal Checkout Efficiency), doubles, 171-180 scores, and 99+ checkouts. His average of 104.22 is the highest recorded, and his OChE rating of 73 puts him far ahead of competitors. Littler’s remarkable performance includes 24 ton-plus finishes in his last 200 legs, with 14 coming in the Finals alone. Despite his loss in the final to Luke Humphries, Littler’s stats place him among the best in PDC history, comparable to Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen at their peak.

Humphries, who defeated Littler in the final, has had a solid year but is now aware that Littler is the favorite heading into the 2024 World Championship. The form of past champions, such as Rob Cross, Michael van Gerwen, and Gerwyn Price, has declined, with younger players like Littler, Josh Rock, and Wessel Nijman emerging as strong contenders. While Gary Anderson stands out with a 99.66 average in 2024, the overall performance of the established stars has been overshadowed by the rise of Littler, signaling a shift in dominance within the PDC.
