Sherrock Makes Ally Pally Comeback as Van Leuven Prepares for Grand Slam Debut!

Fallon Sherrock will return for her fifth appearance at the Paddy Power World Darts Championship in December after clinching her spot during the final weekend of the 2024 PDC Women’s Series in Leicester. Sherrock, who gained fame with her historic victories in 2019, secured her qualification with a strong performance, defeating Mikuru Suzuki 5-2 in the Event 23 final. She also achieved three consecutive 4-1 wins leading up to the final, solidifying her position in the World Championship with a comfortable £2,100 lead over Suzuki.

Meanwhile, Angela Kirkwood celebrated her first Women’s Series title, overcoming Anastasia Dobromyslova in a thrilling final that went to a last-leg shootout. Kirkwood had an impressive run, achieving multiple wins in deciding legs, including a notable 106 checkout against former PDC Tour Card Holder Lisa Ashton in the last 16. Additionally, Noa-Lynn van Leuven confirmed her qualification for the World Championship with a victory in Event 21, and she will also make her Grand Slam debut next month, further highlighting the competitive landscape of women’s darts as the season concludes.
