Littler hit back-to-back 12-darters in the final stages, sealing the victory after De Decker missed a match dart for a 170 finish. Littler’s performance was lauded as one of the best games he has been involved in, showcasing his ability to turn the match around. Gary Anderson, Gian van Veen, and Jermaine Wattimena also advanced to the last eight, with Anderson defeating Stephen Bunting 10-6, Van Veen crushing Ryan Joyce 10-2, and Wattimena edging Dimitri Van den Bergh 10-9 after surviving eight missed match darts.
Anderson’s victory over Bunting was fueled by clinical finishing, including a crucial 138 checkout, while Van Veen continued his strong form with a dominant win over Joyce, averaging 106.45 and landing seven maximums. Wattimena overcame a slow start to defeat Van den Bergh, making a comeback from 4-0 down, with key finishes on the bullseye.
