PDC Referee Corstorphine Takes on Charity Prostate United Challenge

PDC referee Charlie Corstorphine is taking on the Prostate United Challenge this October, alongside his work at the BoyleSports World Grand Prix. Inspired by his grandfather’s battle with prostate cancer, Corstorphine aims to raise awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer UK by running 200 miles throughout the month. He has already completed half of the distance and raised over £800 for the cause.

Prostate Cancer UK was the official charity partner for the 2023/24 Paddy Power World Darts Championship, during which a £1 million donation was made through THE BIG 180 campaign. The campaign encouraged over 136,000 men to complete the charity’s risk-checker, with nearly 100,000 discovering they were at high risk of prostate cancer. Prostate Cancer UK urges men, particularly those over 50, Black, or with a family history, to take the test, as early diagnosis greatly improves survival rates.
