Humphries Favored for BoyleSports World Grand Prix Title Ahead of Semi-Finals

Luke Humphries is the odds-on favorite at 4/9 with BoyleSports to defend his World Grand Prix title as he faces fellow Englishman Ryan Joyce in the semi-finals. Humphries advanced after a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Jonny Clayton, while Joyce pulled off an upset, defeating Rob Cross in a deciding set. The winner of their clash will meet a Belgian opponent in the final, with Mike De Decker and Dimitri Van den Bergh also set for a semi-final showdown after eliminating James Wade and Joe Cullen, respectively.

De Decker is considered the next most likely to claim the title, with odds of 9/2, while Van den Bergh follows at 11/2. Joyce, heading into the semi-finals as the underdog, is given a 12/1 chance. Despite an unpredictable tournament, BoyleSports spokesperson Lawrence Lyons notes that bettors remain confident in Humphries’ chances to secure back-to-back Grand Prix wins.
