Luke Littler clinched his first televised ranking title with a stunning 16-3 victory over Martin Lukeman in the final of the Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts. Littler, who also secured the Premier League and World Series of Darts Finals titles in 2024, had a remarkable tournament, cruising through the group stage and surviving a match dart to defeat Mike De Decker in the last 16. He continued his dominant run with a 16-2 win over Jermaine Wattimena in the quarter-finals, followed by a thrilling 31-leg victory over Gary Anderson in the semis, coming back from a 13-9 deficit to triumph in a deciding leg.
In the final, Lukeman initially took a 2-0 lead, but Littler quickly took control, winning 16 of the next 17 legs to claim the £150,000 top prize. Littler’s relentless scoring, including multiple 180s, proved too much for Lukeman, who was playing in his first televised final. This victory marked Littler’s tenth PDC title of the year, joining an elite group of players who have achieved such a feat, and elevated him to fifth in the PDC Order of Merit. Despite his defeat, Lukeman impressed with his performance throughout the tournament, securing his qualification for the next Grand Slam of Darts.
