PDC Stats Analyst Christopher Kempf reviewed the form of the top ten PDC stars following the conclusion of the 2024 ProTour season, with Damon Heta leading the form rankings. Heta’s impressive 12-match streak with a 95+ average highlighted his ProTour success, though he will miss the Grand Slam of Darts after failing to secure a spot in the qualifying events. Despite his high averages and a top-ten Order of Merit rank, Heta was eliminated in the Tour Card Holder Qualifier by Ryan Joyce, ending his chance to defend last year’s earnings. Heta’s domination included multiple matches won by large margins and impressive average scores, making him a strong contender if he had qualified.
Meanwhile, Ritchie Edhouse has surged in performance, now ranking 17th in both averages and checkout efficiency (OChE), after winning his last three matches with a combined score of 32-13. James Wade reclaimed the #1 spot in doubles accuracy, securing a Grand Slam qualification with 70% accuracy in doubles across three matches. Luke Littler continues to lead in 180s scored this season, nearly doubling the average rate of Tour Card holders. However, weaknesses in doubles accuracy have led to early exits in recent events. Each player’s strengths and recent performance metrics demonstrate their varied approaches to winning efficiency and potential in the upcoming tournaments.
