Van Gerwen and Littler Set for Showdown at TOTO Dutch Darts Masters

Michael van Gerwen and Luke Littler will renew their rivalry in the TOTO Dutch Darts Masters quarter-finals after both secured wins in the first round. Van Gerwen, fresh from a family holiday, dominated Dirk van Duijvenbode 6-1, while Littler edged past Dimitri Van den Bergh 6-4 in a hard-fought match. Three Dutch players—Jermaine Wattimena, Raymond van Barneveld, and Kevin Doets—also impressed with wins, knocking out PDC representatives, including world number one Luke Humphries.

Wattimena stunned Humphries 6-3, Van Barneveld thrilled the home crowd with a dramatic 144 checkout to defeat Chris Dobey, and Doets cruised past Nathan Aspinall 6-1. Elsewhere, Gerwyn Price, Stephen Bunting, and Rob Cross secured quarter-final spots. The tournament continues on Saturday with the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final, where the winner will lift the Toon Greebe Trophy.
