The race for qualification in the Machineseeker European Championship is set to culminate at the Gambrinus Czech Darts Open, taking place from October 18-20 at the PVA Expo in Prague. This final European Tour event of the year will feature a 48-player field competing for a chance at silverware and crucial qualification points. Following the event, the top 32 players on the European Tour Order of Merit will secure their spots for the prestigious tournament in Dortmund, scheduled from October 24-27.
Currently, German player Martin Schindler leads the Order of Merit, bolstered by victories at both the International Darts Open and the Swiss Darts Trophy in 2024. Notable players such as Dave Chisnall and Luke Littler, both of whom have also claimed two titles this year, occupy the second and third spots, while Michael van Gerwen follows closely behind. World number one Luke Humphries, along with previous champions Rob Cross and Peter Wright, are in the top ten as the cut-off approaches. Nathan Aspinall holds the 32nd and final qualification position, with Cameron Menzies and others in contention as they compete for valuable points this weekend.
