Global Stars Shine: Five New International Qualifiers Secured for World Darts Championship!

Noa-Lynn van Leuven, Fallon Sherrock, Gordon Mathers, Sandro Eric Sosing, and Lok Yin Lee have officially qualified for the 2024/25 Paddy Power World Darts Championship. Van Leuven and Sherrock earned their spots through the PDC Women’s Series, finishing second and third on the Women’s Series Order of Merit. Van Leuven, who achieved a remarkable 109.64 average during her fourth title win at Event 21, will make her World Championship debut. Sherrock, now set for her fifth appearance at Alexandra Palace, extended her Women’s Series titles to 17 with three wins in 2024.

Meanwhile, Mathers secured his place in the World Championship by winning the DPA Oceanic Masters, ending a three-year wait to return to Ally Pally. Sosing reached the final of the PDC Asian Championship, where he was runner-up to Lourence Ilagan, who already qualified. Sosing’s semi-final victory over Lee, who also earned a World Championship debut as the next-best non-qualified player, highlighted his strong performance. As the tournament approaches, three more International Qualifiers will be announced, with additional opportunities from upcoming global events, including the Winmau Challenge Tour and the HYLO PDC Europe Super League.
