Siguro, proud father lang talaga ako. Pero, I think there’s no doubt na, should he really focus on it, as in really focus like heck, talagang may future sa darts ang anak kong si Steven aka FuriousLegit (I don’t know how he came up with this IGN when he was starting to play online games).

OR, baka lang sinuwerte siya sa kakampi niya recently kaya sila nanalo.

At the recent MIMO Event of Anabu Darts Club (ADC) held at Robinsons Place Imus, Steven finally became a champion in one of the categories—Doubles. And key to that, I think, was his teammate, Drepads Capapas, who won first place in the Singles category.

Pero, of course, the fact remains na talaga namang nakakasabay na si Steven sa mga strong players who usually frequent ADC’s weekly MIMO tournaments. Nariyan na si Carlo Monsanto, Michael “Mhike” Ruiz, at si Reuben Murillo Lapasaran. Napakalalakas na mga players (si Sir Jomel Castro lang ang wala).

Kaya lang, talagang mahirap mag-focus for him. Kasi nga, sobrang busy rin niya as a Senior High School Student sa DLSU-Dasma. On top of that, he’s also into running. Well, the distance running/marathon type, not the speed-a-la-Bolt type of running. So, talagang I am not sure kung paano pa niya naisisingit ang darts. But I know, kung talagang mas maging focused siya rito, aba eh, sky’s the limit.

Anyway, at least, the important thing is, he finally won first place (doubles) at ADC’s MIMO tournament. This is on the heels of him being a second runner up with Sir Marvin Moreno at a prior MIMO event.
