BoyleSports has donated £10,000 to Bipolar UK following the conclusion of the BoyleSports World Grand Prix, where Mike De Decker triumphed over Luke Humphries in an exciting final. Throughout the tournament, BoyleSports had pledged £20 for every double 20 hit, with 365 double 20s struck by the end of the event, raising £7,300. In a generous move, BoyleSports boosted the total donation to £10,000. The beneficiary, Bipolar UK, was chosen by James Wade, a tournament quarter-finalist and ambassador for the charity.
BoyleSports’ Head of PR, Sharon McHugh, expressed pride in supporting Bipolar UK’s mission to help individuals affected by bipolar disorder, highlighting the importance of raising awareness for mental health issues. James Wade also thanked BoyleSports for their generous contribution, acknowledging how it would positively impact Bipolar UK’s work. Wade, a two-time World Grand Prix winner, remarked that while he didn’t win the tournament, he was glad his success with double 20s could help support such a meaningful cause.
