Arrows of Ambition in Pagadian City: P200,000 Mayor Sammy S. Co Cup National Darts Tournament
Under the bright lights of the City Covered Court at Plaza Luz, Pagadian City prepared to witness two days of fierce focus, steady hands, and unbreakable nerve. On January 10–11, 2026, dart players from across the region gathered for the P200,000 Mayor Sammy S. Co Cup National Darts Tournament, an event that promised not just competition, but pride, honor, and legacy.
Organized by the PAGZUR Darts Club, the tournament transformed the familiar court into a battlefield of precision, where every throw carried weight and every checkout echoed through the crowd. With a total prize pool of P200,000, the stakes were high, drawing seasoned veterans and hungry challengers alike, all determined to etch their names into Pagadian City’s growing darts history.
As the first dart was thrown, silence fell, broken only by the sharp thud of steel meeting board. Cheers erupted with every 180, and groans followed the narrowest of misses. Over two intense days, friendships were tested, rivalries were renewed, and new heroes emerged—each player united by the same dream: to lift the Mayor Sammy S. Co Cup and walk away victorious.
Behind the scenes, the dedication of the organizers ensured the tournament’s smooth flow. Ramolito M. Colmo and Arnel Garces, serving as key contacts, worked tirelessly to make sure every match ran on time and every competitor felt the spirit of true sportsmanship.
By the final leg on January 11, only the strongest remained. As the last dart found its mark, applause filled the court—not just for the winner, but for the shared passion that brought everyone together. More than a tournament, the Mayor Sammy S. Co Cup became a celebration of skill, discipline, and the growing darts community in Pagadian City.
