2024 PDC Asian Championship Qualifiers Set: Countdown to the Main Event Begins!

Haruki Muramatsu will kick off his title defense at the PDC Asian Championship this Saturday in Manila, with the tournament featuring a 48-player field following two days of qualifiers. The event boasts a $100,000 prize fund and offers coveted spots in the Mr. Vegas Grand Slam of Darts for the champion and the Paddy Power World Darts Championship for both finalists. Muramatsu, the reigning champion, is seeded fifth for the 2024 championship, which is headlined by top Filipino players Alexis Toylo and Lourence Ilagan.

The tournament will begin with a round-robin stage, where players are divided into 16 groups, before group winners advance to the knockout rounds. Saturday’s matches will determine which players progress to the last 16, with the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals scheduled for Sunday. The PDC Asian Championship will be streamed live on PDCTV for subscribers worldwide, and players are competing for significant prize money, including $15,000 for the winner and $7,000 for the runner-up.
