Kumar Steps In as Riyadh Season Darts Masters Line-Up Shifts

Nitin Kumar has been drafted into the 2026 Riyadh Season Saudi Arabia Darts Masters, replacing Paolo Nebrida following the Filipino star’s withdrawal from the tournament due to illness.

Kumar joins the 16-player field as one of eight Asian Representatives, continuing his rapid rise on the global stage. The Indian ace recently etched his name into the history books by becoming the first player from India to record a victory at the Alexandra Palace stage during the 2025/26 World Darts Championship, and he now earns another major opportunity at World Series level.

The inaugural staging of the Riyadh Season Saudi Arabia Darts Masters will take place from January 19-20, marking the first time that a World Series of Darts event is held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The two-day tournament will feature eight PDC superstars going head-to-head with eight Asian Tour representatives, as the sport’s elite compete for prestigious televised silverware on a new global stage.

Round one will be held on Monday January 19, with the remaining eight players returning on Tuesday January 20 for a high-intensity climax featuring the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final in a single blockbuster session.
