Despite New Zealand’s Ben Robb winning Event Nine, Pusey responded with consecutive titles in Events Ten and Eleven. He reflected on his pivotal victory: “I produced a remarkable turnaround from 5-1 down to take the title, completing the comeback with a 12-dart break of throw in the decider.” In Event 11, Pusey again fought back from a 4-2 deficit to defeat James Bailey, extending his winning streak to ten matches. His bid for a third consecutive title ended in the Event 12 quarter-finals, with Brody Klinge claiming the final title of the season.

Pusey’s top finish secures his debut at Alexandra Palace, while Raymond Smith, despite finishing second, will join him in the Dabble Darts ANZ Premier League starting October 4. Other confirmed participants include Simon Whitlock, Joe Comito, Klinge, and Bailey, alongside the DPNZ ProTour champion and the DPNZ Top 16 Play-Off winner.

The season highlighted Pusey’s resilience and late-game composure, cementing him as a rising star on the Australian darts scene.
