Race is On for Chris Sports Player Darter of the Year (DOTY)

The race for the 2025 Chris Sports Player Darter of the Year (DOTY) is intensifying as the Q2 standings reveal a close contest among the country’s top darters.

Leading the pack is Lourence Ilagan with 300 points, showcasing strong and consistent performances in the first half of the season. Just behind him is long-time national standout Noel Malicdem of Pasig City with 280 points, while Manila’s Christian Delos Reyes is close in third with 275 points, making the top three a tight battle.

Rounding out the top five are Jhay Doria of Mandaluyong City (225 points) and Aris Quijano of Cagayan De Oro (220 points), reflecting Mindanao’s growing presence. Gilbert “Boy” Ulang holds sixth (210 points), while Alexis Toylo and Mark Lumilang share seventh (190 points). Paolo Nebrida (185 points) and Bobby Geba (175 points) complete the top 10.

With several tournaments left, the race promises more shakeups and surprises.
