The Professional Darts Corporation has confirmed a record-breaking long-term partnership extension with Winmau, with the Blade X set to become the official dartboard for all PDC stage events.
The sport’s largest-ever equipment supply agreement was announced during the draw for the Winmau World Masters, which takes place from January 29–February 1 at Arena MK in Milton Keynes. The tournament will mark the Blade X’s first appearance on the PDC stage.
Under the new deal, Winmau dartboards will be used exclusively across PDC tournaments worldwide, with events in 2026 scheduled across 17 countries. The Blade X has been engineered to meet the demands of the modern professional game, delivering enhanced scoring consistency, fewer bounce-outs and outstanding durability. Built to the highest standards, it becomes the first dartboard to launch with a five-year warranty and will now be a permanent feature at PDC stage events.

The extension also confirms Winmau’s continued role as title sponsor of the PDC Challenge Tour, Development Tour and World Youth Championship, reinforcing a joint commitment to nurturing emerging talent and strengthening player pathways.
Matthew Porter, PDC Chief Executive, said: “Winmau have been a fantastic partner of the PDC over the last four years, and this record-breaking extension reflects our shared ambition for the future of the sport.
“Their commitment to innovation, quality and performance is unmatched, and the launch of the Blade X sets a new benchmark for darts equipment at the very highest level.
“We’re delighted to continue working together to deliver the best possible playing conditions for our players while helping to grow darts to new audiences around the world.”
Tom Brown, CEO of Nodor Group and Winmau, added: “We’re incredibly proud to extend our partnership with the PDC and to see the Blade X introduced on the sport’s biggest stages.
“This agreement reflects our shared commitment to performance, innovation and the continued growth of darts worldwide.”
