Metrix Bolts Strike Gold at Mayor Bruce Matabalao 500K Dart Showdown

The Mayor Bruce Matabalao 500K National Dart Tournament, held December 4-7 at City Mall of Cotabato during the Shariff Kabunsuan Festival, brought high-stakes excitement to Cotabato City as 33 elite teams battled for supremacy in the Fixed Four-Man Team event. Sanctioned by the National Darts Federation of the Philippines and organized by UDK, competitors showcased precision and teamwork on the official Robson Razor Bladewire Dartboard, with festival-goers treated to a thrilling display of skill and strategy.

Emerging victorious were the unstoppable Metrix Bolts team – Duyane Decena, Dart Decena, Bruse Perez, and Jojo Tupas – who delivered clutch performances throughout the weekend to claim the championship. Their combination of calm under pressure and pinpoint accuracy proved too much for the competition.

Runners-up UDK 2, composed of Jehad Mampo, Jerud Kamensa, Basco Pananggulon, and Ariel Castillo, fought valiantly, pushing the champions to the limit but ultimately falling short. Sharing third and fourth place were GMD SPV and Kumpadres 1, while Jomsa Zamboanga, PDA, Robson, and Arby’s Fleur Delis rounded out the top eight with strong displays of teamwork and consistency.

The tournament highlighted not only elite competition but also camaraderie among the nation’s top darters, with each team bringing unique strategies and standout moments to the stage. Fans witnessed remarkable finishes, tense deciders, and moments of pure darting brilliance, cementing the event as a highlight of Cotabato’s festival celebrations. With the Metrix Bolts taking home the top prize, the tournament set a high bar for skill, teamwork, and excitement in Philippine darts.
