Littler Sets Record Pace in Latest PDC Rankings Update

Luke Littler has strengthened his grip on top spot in the PDC Werner Rankings Ladder after lifting the inaugural SUPERBET Poland Darts Open title.

The 19-year-old world number one collected £35,000 in Kraków, pushing his two-year rolling prize money to a record £2,886,000 — the highest total ever recorded on the PDC world rankings. Remarkably, Littler achieved this despite skipping the opening four Players Championship events of 2026.

Already holder of every individual ranking Premier event title except the European Championship, Littler’s latest triumph adds further silverware to an extraordinary rise.

Wessel Nijman has been one of the biggest climbers in recent weeks, rising six places to 23rd. The Dutchman claimed Players Championship Event Two in Hildesheim, finished runner-up at Event Four, and reached the quarter-finals in Poland.

James Wade has also enjoyed a strong start to 2026, moving from 11th to eighth. The three-time UK Open champion won the opening Players Championship event of the year and secured his 14th ProTour title, alongside a World Masters quarter-final and another semi-final appearance.

World number two Luke Humphries remains secure in his position despite Gian van Veen reaching the Poland final. Humphries was runner-up at the World Masters and claimed a Players Championship title in Wigan.

Meanwhile, Ryan Searle has slipped from eighth to 12th after a mixed February.

Among the new Tour Card holders, Adam Gawlas has made the brightest start, climbing to 90th after a Players Championship semi-final and a run to round two in Poland.

The Rankings Ladder will next update following Players Championship Events Five and Six in Leicester.
