Littler Holds Firm as Humphries Impresses on Thrilling Day Two at Arena MK

Luke Littler and Luke Humphries both delivered standout performances on Day Two of the 2026 Winmau World Masters in Milton Keynes, navigating tough contests to underline their title credentials.

Littler was pushed to the limit by former World Grand Prix champion Mike De Decker, recovering from a 2–1 deficit to win a dramatic five-set encounter. After edging the opening set, the world number one found himself under pressure as De Decker reeled off five straight legs, highlighted by a superb 121 bull finish. De Decker later missed a match-winning 142 checkout, allowing Littler to regroup, level the match, and dominate the deciding set. Reflecting on the contest, Littler said: “It was a tough game tonight… I’m glad I got over the line. I managed to find a bit of form and I got the win.”

Humphries, meanwhile, opened his title defence in commanding fashion with a 3–1 victory over Dave Chisnall, averaging over 104 and firing seven 180s in just ten legs. Despite early missed doubles, the reigning champion responded with a blistering spell of 12 and 11-dart legs. “My scoring was top notch, but I need to sharpen up on my doubles,” Humphries admitted, adding that he hopes to “create more memories this year.”

Elsewhere, Luke Woodhouse booked a clash with Humphries after dismantling Martin Schindler with a 108.64 average, while Danny Noppert, Stephen Bunting, Rob Cross, Josh Rock, and Ross Smith all progressed with impressive wins.

Round Two continues on Saturday with a packed schedule at Arena MK, featuring high-profile clashes including Littler versus Smith and Humphries against Woodhouse, live on ITV4 and PDC broadcast partners.
