O’Connor and Rydz Complete European Tour Qualification Double in Hildesheim

William O’Connor and Callan Rydz secured a clean sweep in the Tour Card Holder Qualifiers for European Tour Events 13-14 in Hildesheim on Thursday. The double-header at Halle 39 saw 84 players competing for ten spots per event. O’Connor, a former World Cup finalist, conceded just 11 legs across both qualifiers to book his place at the Swiss Darts Trophy (ET13) in Basel and the German Darts Championship (ET14) in Hildesheim. Rydz matched the feat, winning six consecutive matches and averaging over 101 in his ET13 shoot-out against Steve Lennon, before surviving deciding-leg ties against Niko Springer and Ricky Evans in the ET14 qualifier.
