PDC Stats Analyst Christopher Kempf assesses the top ten stars based on their last 200 legs following Night One of the Premier League and the opening two Players Championship events of 2026.
200-LEG FORM GUIDE SUMMARY
#1 Averages – Luke Littler
#1 OChE – Luke Littler
#1 Doubles – Gerwyn Price
#1 171-180 – Luke Littler
#1 99, 101+ Checkout – Gerwyn Price & Michael van Gerwen

No one would have predicted, purely from his Form Guide ranking, that James Wade would win Players Championship One. Wade holds the 20th highest average in the PDC and produces just 44 maximums per 200 legs—nearly three times fewer than Littler. However, clinical finishing proved decisive. The three-time UK Open champion nailed 137, 127, 130 and 104 checkouts in 13 legs to defeat Michael van Gerwen, despite recording only one ton-plus finish in his first five matches. Intriguingly, Wade’s average ranking dropped by 0.36 to 94.29, underlining his unique ability to win without dominating statistically.
Luke Littler remains comfortably top of the Form Guide despite defeat in a rematch of the 2026 World Championship final. Gian van Veen, however, slipped significantly after a quiet ProTour week, surrendering top spot in doubles and falling nearly six OChE points to seventh. He now trails Littler by five points in averages and eleven in OChE, with Wessel Nijman and Danny Noppert overtaking him in the latter metric.
Gerwyn Price’s run to the Players Championship Two final has made him the tour’s most clinical doubles hitter, converting 49.99% of attempts. His 105.69 tournament average propelled him to second in OChE ahead of his Premier League clash with Van Veen.
Justin Hood and Krzysztof Ratajski have also surged, with Ratajski now ranked among the world’s top five checkout specialists.
