Kumpadres Trio Tops Mayor Bruce Matabalao 500K Dart Showdown

The Mayor Bruce Matabalao 500K National Dart Tournament, held December 4-7 at City Mall of Cotabato in celebration of the Shariff Kabunsuan Festival, delivered high-octane darting action as 141 players competed in the Classified Draw Triples event. Sanctioned by the National Darts Federation of the Philippines and organized by UDK, the tournament showcased the country’s top talent on the official Robson Razor Bladewire Dartboard, with precision, strategy, and nerves of steel on full display.

Claiming the championship was the formidable Kumpadres trio of Mark Lumilang, Giselle Bulahao, and Jehad Mampo, whose combination of experience, skill, and teamwork proved unbeatable. “It’s amazing to play with such talented partners. Everything clicked, and we just went for it,” said one of the champions, celebrating their well-earned victory.

Runners-up Albert Dela Serna, Nino Cabangal, and Diether Concepcion delivered a strong challenge, pushing the champions in key moments but ultimately finishing second. Sharing third and fourth place were Bobby Geba, Anthony Araneta, Tots Batitao, John Diodos, Micheal Albores, and Eloy Saradat, while the top eight was rounded out by impressive performances from Ryan Galceran, Ging Ansale, Ricardo Dalisay, Bruse Perez, Jhunrex Acla, Daniel Piñas, Serge Balanay, and Jomarie Almirante.

The event highlighted not only competitive excellence but also camaraderie among players from across the Philippines. Fans were treated to thrilling finishes, sharp doubles, and match-winning checkouts that kept the audience on the edge of their seats. With the Kumpadres trio taking home the crown, the tournament cemented its place as a premier stop on the Philippine darting calendar, celebrating skill, teamwork, and the spirit of the Shariff Kabunsuan Festival.
