Gerwyn Price launches his bid for consecutive nightly wins against World Cup partner Jonny Clayton on Thursday, as the 2026 BetMGM Premier League heads to Glasgow’s OVO Hydro.
Price claimed Night Two honours in Antwerp with a 104+ average in the final against Michael van Gerwen, having also defeated Gian van Veen and Clayton. He has now won his last ten meetings with Clayton.
“This week I’ll be even more relaxed and hopefully I can play even better,” insisted Price.
“In patches I’m probably playing the best I’ve ever played, but so is everybody else.
“I think the fact the two Lukes are playing so well has probably kicked us up the backside a bit. I am practising more than ever now, and it’s paying off.
“I’m sure Michael [van Gerwen] and everybody else are doing the same, and it’s good for the sport because everyone is on their toes.”

League leader Van Gerwen, three points clear at the summit after back-to-back finals, faces World Champion Luke Littler in a blockbuster quarter-final. The Dutchman beat Littler 6-4 in Antwerp before losing to Price.
Littler opened his 2026 account with a deciding-leg win over Luke Humphries, averaging 105. Humphries responded by winning Players Championship Four with six straight ton-plus averages and now meets Josh Rock.
“I’m feeling really good about my game,” declared Humphries.
“Last week was a setback missing those doubles to beat Luke, but the new equipment is still going well.
“It was a really nice feeling to win in Wigan. It gives me a lot of confidence because it’s the first tournament I’ve won in a long time.
“There’s going to be a lot of graft this year, but if I keep playing like this then the rewards will come.”
Elsewhere, Stephen Bunting meets Van Veen for a semi-final spot.
