Stowe Buntz and David Cameron have secured their places at the Paddy Power World Darts Championship after the Championship Darts Circuit season concluded with Events 14–16 in Brownsburg, Indiana.
The weekend’s action confirmed Buntz and Cameron as qualifiers alongside Adam Sevada, with Cameron finishing as the highest-ranked Canadian on the CDC rankings to earn his third appearance at Alexandra Palace. The 56-year-old sealed qualification in style by claiming Event 15 on Saturday, producing a dramatic fightback victory over Buntz in a deciding-leg final.

Buntz looked on course for the title after landing superb 127, 152 and 155 checkouts to establish a 5-2 lead, but Cameron surged back to win five of the final six legs and claim his second CDC title of the season. Despite that defeat, Buntz also booked his Ally Pally return, finishing as the highest-ranked non-qualified player on the CDC rankings after collecting four titles across the campaign.
Earlier in the weekend, Jim Long claimed Event 14 with a 7-3 victory over Cameron, securing the sixth CDC ProTour title of his career. Leonard Gates then rounded off the season in style by winning Event 16 on Sunday, defeating Sevada 7-3 in the final.
Gates had already secured World Championship qualification via his CDC Cross-Border Challenge success in April, while Sevada will make his Alexandra Palace debut after topping the overall CDC rankings.
Attention now turns to the CDC Continental Cup in Philadelphia on October 18, where another World Championship spot will be on offer. If an already-qualified player claims the title, the place will pass to Alex Spellman as the next highest-ranked non-qualified competitor.
