BetMGM will continue its headline-grabbing initiative in the 2026 BetMGM Premier League, rewarding any player who lands a nine-darter with a bespoke set of solid 18ct gold darts worth £30,000. The custom-made prize, created by Humphrey and Hawkins, is available to all eight Premier League contenders and can be claimed multiple times across the 17-week campaign.

Since the competition began, nine-darters have been achieved on 21 occasions, with last season setting a new benchmark. A record five perfect legs were struck, as Luke Humphries, Rob Cross and Luke Littler all delivered perfection, while Gerwyn Price hit two nine-darters to take his Premier League total to five. As a result, BetMGM handed out gold dart prizes valued at £150,000.

Two-time World Champion and 2024 Premier League winner Littler heads into the 2026 edition as the 4/5 favourite, with reigning champion Humphries priced at 9/2 and World Championship runner-up Gian van Veen close behind at 5/1.

PDC Head of Commercial Adam Perfect welcomed the continuation of the scheme, saying: “It’s brilliant that BetMGM is running this initiative again for this year’s Premier League. It went down really well with the players last year and the fact we saw five nine-darters across the 17 weeks of action shows how much of an added incentive it was.”

BetMGM Brand Director Dan Towse added: “With five nine-darters, the standard we saw in last year’s BetMGM Premier League was absolutely unbelievable… they act as a really interesting subplot in what is set to be another brilliant tournament.”

The initiative adds further excitement to a Premier League season already packed with elite talent and high-stakes competition.
